$1,200

With 1,500 copies originally printed, the book has long been sold out. These remaining copies, signed by John Reardon, are exclusively available to visitors of STANDARD H in celebration of our new collaboration!

PATEK PHILIPPE IN AMERICA explores the brand’s history and its relationship with the American market through an extensive collection of original advertisements and archival documents. This richly illustrated, oversized coffee-table book highlights many of the most important watches, technical innovations, and U.S. retailers of the 19th and 20th centuries.

When the book was first released in 2008—two years before the dawn of Instagram—I was obsessed with collecting vintage Patek Philippe advertisements and wanted to tell the story of Patek Philippe in the United States using primary source material from my collection, along with interviews with the men and women who worked at the Henri Stern Watch Agency. The result is a 400-page tome that shares Patek Philippe’s American story in a way that had never been done before.
